GIVING BACK TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES

At NPCE, collaboration, commitment and service are the cornerstones of our client solutions. This ethos extends to our broader community as well. We believe that everyone has a role to play in nurturing a healthy community, and we’re committed to ensuring that our communities harness the full potential of technology. Giving back is at the heart of NPCE. Many of our team members have been shaped by the support of strong communities in their formative years. In fact, eleven of our team members are proud alumni of the Boys and Girls Club (BGC), with two even being recognized as BGC Youth of the Year. We live and breathe our values and our commitment to philanthropy and community involvement is exemplified by our CEO, Abraham Ebby Sabbagh, who was recently honored for his contributions with a National Medallion initiatives by BCG (link to news page on this topic). See below how NPCE has contributed to the communities it serves of the years.

YOUTH OF THE YEAR

The BCG of Arizona State Youth of the Year Program is dedicated to recognizing and promoting service to the Club and community, academic excellence, and contributions to family and spiritual life among youth. Each Club selects a Youth of the Year to represent them at the state level, where winners receive scholarships to local colleges, a plaque, and the opportunity to compete in the regional competition. Regional winners then vie for scholarships and participate in a national competition held in Washington, DC, where the National Youth of the Year is installed by the President of the United States. As a proud sponsor of the program at the BGC of Scottsdale, NPCE is honored to support these young leaders. We present technology prizes to the winner and finalists, recognizing their achievements and investing in their future.

BGCA TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

Years ago, the BGC of America established a National Technology Advisory Committee comprising technology experts from across the United States. The Committee’s mission is to provide guidance and leadership for BGCA’s technology program initiatives, preparing youth with the technical skills needed to succeed in the job market. NPCE CEO, Abraham “Ebby” Sabbagh, has served on this committee since its inception, lending his technology expertise to support Boys & Girls Clubs across the US.

NPCE TECHMOBILE

In 2005, the NPCE team took mobile technology to a new level, purchasing and outfitting the Techmobile – a state-of-the art mobile technology center, stocked full of technology tools designed to spark the imaginations of children of all ages! While no longer in operation, the Techmobile was designed to provide engaging, hands-on technology experiences in a safe and positive environment. Hundreds of youths visited the Techmobile to enjoy a diverse range of exciting activities, including internet radio broadcasts, green screen movie production, and stop-motion animation. Today the Techmobile lives on – it was donated to the Boys and Girls Club to be used as a STEM bus.
